Moles are growths on individuals’ skin that is quite common. Some moles appear at the time of birth called congenital nevi and are highly likely to develop into something cancerous. At the start of the procedure the skin is numbed by using local anesthetic. The laser is then used to get rid of the mole’s pigmentation. The time it takes to totally eliminate the mole will be different in accordance to the size of the mole. If the mole to be removed is very small, anesthetics may not be required.
The skin will be sensitive after laser mole removal and must not be open to the sun or it should be sheltered with sunscreen for at least 6 weeks after the procedure. In most cases, an effective approach in removing moles is done via laser treatment. In my case, I added creams that helps the skin to regenerate new cells after the laser treatment done. But all these have not come yet as my moles are tolerable enough not to take out yet. But if ever they grow big, I will definitely chose laser mole removal treatment.
